We've developed and maintained a highly efficient ERP system for Parnells for many years, helping them streamline operations as they continuously innovate and automate their processes.
Recently, Parnells wanted to further optimize their Sales CRM by automating the update of CRM opportunity statuses based on sales order activity. Specifically, they required the system to:
- Automatically update the CRM opportunity status when a sales order is created.
- Change the status automatically when the sales order is confirmed.
- Display the CRM opportunity directly within the sales order, allowing for easy tracking and full visibility of the opportunity.
Numla’s Solution
Numla thoroughly analyzed their requirements and designed a custom solution demonstrating how it would work. We developed a solution where the CRM opportunity stages are dynamically linked to the sales process, allowing Parnells to configure which CRM Opportunity stage corresponds to a Sales Quotation and which stage represents a Confirmed Order.
After demonstrating the solution, Parnells was highly impressed and quickly decided to implement it in their live operations.
Key Features of the Solution
Automated CRM Status Updates
When a sales quotation is created from a CRM opportunity, the system automatically updates the opportunity status. Likewise, once the sales order is confirmed, the status of the linked opportunity is updated accordingly.
Enhanced Visibility
Parnells’ team can easily view CRM opportunities directly from the sales order screen. This allows them to track the status, review the Opportunity, and access all related information conveniently from the sales order view.
