Key Challenge
JFE faced a significant challenge on their Odoo-based e-commerce website: the absence of the HUMM payment gateway, widely utilised in Ireland. HUMM offers a convenient "Buy Now Pay Later" option, allowing customers to manage their finances effectively by spreading the cost of purchases over time. With over 2.7 million customers across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, integrating HUMM was essential to retain customers and compete with websites offering better payment options.
Our Solution
Integration of HUMM Payment Option
Our development team seamlessly integrated the HUMM payment gateway into their e-commerce platform to address this challenge. Now, when customers browse products and proceed to checkout, they are presented with the option to pay using HUMM.
Payment Plan
Upon selecting HUMM, customers are presented with a detailed payment plan. This plan outlines how the purchase cost can be divided into easy installments based on the product price, making it easier for customers to understand and opt for the "Buy Now Pay Later" option.
Redirection to HUMM
Once customers agree to the payment plan, they are redirected to the HUMM website. Here, they can provide the necessary documents and complete the payment process securely.
Accurate Financial Recording
All transactions made through the HUMM payment method are accurately recorded in the Odoo accounting app under the relevant journal. This ensures transparency and efficiency in financial management, helping JFE maintain accurate records.
