Key Challenge in Payment Registration

The significant challenge faced by the client was handling instalments or pending payments through the POS interface. Most POS systems do not support this functionality, forcing the client to switch to a backend system or a separate application to record such payments. This process is time-consuming and impractical, especially during busy periods.

Our Solution

To address this requirement, we introduced the following enhancements:

Enhanced Sales Invoice Visibility

Our upgraded POS interface now displays all sales invoices with comprehensive details, including total invoice value, due amounts, and customer information. The integrated search function allows for quick and easy retrieval and printing of invoices, ensuring seamless customer service.

Simplified Payment Registration

Registering payments has never been easier. Whether customers choose to pay in full or in instalments, cashiers can effortlessly open the relevant invoice and process the payment using a card or cash. The due amount is automatically updated based on the payment received. Additionally, our system ensures that the backend accounting application records the payment in real-time, providing the finance department with immediate access to due payment information.

Impact

The ability to manage full and instalment payments directly within the POS interface is aimed at increasing operational efficiency, reducing the need for backend system reliance, and improving transaction speed during busy periods.

This solution not only streamlines cashier operations but also provides real-time financial updates, ensuring the finance department stays informed. Ultimately, these improvements will lead to a more seamless and efficient payment experience for both staff and customers.
