Odoo does not offer a default feature to create product brands and associate them with individual products. However, the ability to manage products based on brands is crucial for businesses. This allows for the organised handling of products with distinct brands and facilitates the analysis of sales categorised by product brands.
Numla identified the missing crucial component and has developed a solution named Numla Product Brand to address your business challenge of managing products with branding. Our solution not only allows you to associate brands with products but also provides the capability to visualise sales reports categorised by brand. This enhancement ensures a more comprehensive and effective management of your products within the Numla App.
Installation
To install the app, log in to Odoo with admin access. Navigate to the App menu and locate "Numla Product Brand." Proceed to install the app from there.
Brand Setup & Configuration
To create new brands, navigate to the Sales App and access the Configuration Menu. Locate the "Product Brand" option within the menu. Here, you can create various brands for your products. Assign a brand partner if applicable and provide a brand description as needed.
To set up a brand for a product, go to the Products section, and find the option for "Product Brand." Then, choose and set the brand for the product as desired.
Product Brand Sales Report
To analyse sales based on product brands, go to the Sales App, click on Reporting, and open the Product Sales Report. Here, you can observe sales data categorised by product brands, providing a comprehensive view of brand-wise sales performance.
