Key Challenge with Amazon Live Inventory
The client, reliant on Amazon FBA, faced significant hurdles in tracking inventory across multiple Amazon seller accounts. Without this data seamlessly integrated into Odoo, they struggled to monitor product availability in key regions such as the UK, USA, and PAN EU. This lack of visibility hindered their ability to forecast purchases accurately and manage stock levels across various Amazon FBA warehouses, leading to potential shortages.

Automated Live Inventory Reports
To address these challenges, we implemented live inventory reports accessible through automated cron jobs. These reports fetch real-time inventory data from Amazon's USA, UK, and PAN EU regions, including on-hand and reserved quantities. By aligning product mapping within Odoo, the system effectively updates stock levels across relevant locations, ensuring alignment with Amazon's data.
These reports empower the client to monitor quantities across seller locations within a unified system. Additionally, they facilitate proactive replenishment planning by automatically generating RFQs when stock levels fall below specified thresholds.
Sales Analysis
The integration also offers the added benefit of streamlined sales analysis. With access to real-time data, the client can identify fast-moving products without the need to log into their Amazon accounts. This enables them to conduct comparative sales analyses across different time frames, identifying trends and optimising their product offerings. Additionally, they can swiftly discontinue underperforming items to mitigate losses effectively.
